Reflecting His Excellence

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.    2 Corinthians 4:7

About Commissioned for Christ

I was and still am a dedicated Fred Hammond fan so in 2003 when I was thinking of names for a Graphic Design business, I put both of Fred Hammond's group names: Commissioned and Radical for Christ and thus Commissioned for Christ Graphics and Design was born! Commissioned for Christ provided affordable graphic design to friends, family, Churches, Small Businesses, and Funeral Homes. As much as I enjoyed it, I ended up spending more time doing the business stuff than actually doing graphic design. And while it was successful, I found my self returning to the corporate world in 2006 . I eventually dissolved the business in 2008, but continued to provide assistance for family and friends in dire need as I was able.

But once again, I'm in a place in my life where I'm able to minister to individuals and families in need in various capacities beyond just Graphic Design and I wanted to create a website where people could have a snapshot of all the ways God has blessed me to be a blessing to others.

The tagline back then was Reflecting His Excellence and that hasn't changed, as I move forward endeavoring to be a blessing to others in various ways, thus continuing to do my best, to offer a reflection of the excellence of God, in all that I do.

Ministry Support

While Commissioned for Christ is the Ministry of Charmissa D. Biscoe, the support of family and friends is an added blessing to those we serve. Between praying, counseling, assisting and just helping, their support to this ministry is needed, necessary and appreciated. While my Momma was one of my best workers and biggest supporters, my uncles and aunts and various friends continue to be a blessing to me and my ministry.

This Ministry is Dedicated In Loving Memory

of my incredible, supportive parents, Charles and Sharon Washington

whom I lost in 2020 & 2021, respectively. Losing them not only made me very sensitive to loss and the grieving process but it pushed me to figure out life after losing them. I am inspired to keep living, learning, and growing and to honor them by doing so! Love you, Mom and Dad!
